Are teeth whitening strips bad for your teeth?
Generally speaking, teeth whitening strips are not bad for your teeth and usually it is safe to use. The only time when whitening strips might cause harm to your teeth is when it is laced with chlorine dioxide. This is a chemical that is found in the same acid used to clean swimming pools. While it can whiten the teeth, it does so by eating away the enamel that causes it. With the enamel gone, you lose the sparkle of your teeth, they become too sensitive and they are left without protection.
